The Tennessee Health Care Campaign (THCC) is a statewide non-profit, non-partisan patient advocacy organization working towards affordable access to high-quality health care for all Tennesseans. Our guiding principle is simple: All Tennesseans deserve access to affordable, high-quality health care. We envision a society where the physical, mental and emotional health needs of all adults and children are met and all Tennesseans have the opportunity to lead healthy and productive lives.
The strategies for achieving this vision are three-fold: 1) Community outreach and public education; 2) direct service social work; and 3) advocacy through coalition building and policy work. Since 1989, THCC has worked toward this vision in collaboration with advocacy groups, affected constituents, community leaders, and policymakers – from grassroots to grasstops – to influence positive change in public health and health care.
